Cohousing is intentional clustered private dwellings with shared facilities and neighbourhood life.

Cohousing is well established in Europe (10% of Danish developments are coho) and the US; here, a new wave of diverse communities are developing after the success of Earthsong in West Auckland.

But efforts have been dispirate, and in many ways unconnected, ironially lacking some of the connectedness that makes individual 'coho's work so well.
