Cycotecture

Cycotecture - Cycling Architecture Forum Branding

Auckland is a town just beginning to wake up to the idea of what it might be to have a liveable build environment.

But popular improvements such as the Wynyard Quarter and other mixed spaces are actually the fruit of the effort of urban designers and activists for some time now. What does this have to do with cycling?

As one urban designer at this event said: Bicycles are a barometer for a city’s liveability – and certainly, most of the world’s great cities are cycle-friendly. This meeting place of urban design professionals and cycling advocates needed a name and a face. Cycotecture it would be.
